My berserker in breach league had over 7k hp. Because of the start position, you tend to have more life than other builds anyway, so it balances out. The 10% increased damage taken has never been an overly large problem, hardcore or softcore. Since it is basically the same, it should continue to be solid. Berserker has always been solid, even for casters. I guess with assassin getting nerfed into the ground something else needs to become the flavor of the month.
